The Innovation Relay Centre-Bulgaria (IRC-BG) , together with the European Network of IRCs, organized a technology brokerage event in the field of information technologies – IRC Future Match. The event was held in the framework of one of the largest IT events of the year – CeBit 2004, held in Hannover, Germany, on 19-21 March 2004.

The IRC Future Match at CeBIT enabled exhibitors and visitors to make vital contacts with potential business and research partners and customers from all over Europe, Canada and Australia. Organized by the IRC Network, participants published their technology profiles in a constantly updated online catalogue. Individual bilateral meetings were booked in advance and pre-arranged by IRC assistants.
To allow visitors from abroad to meet each other more easily, the main IRC matching activities were concentrated on three days, 19 through 21 March 2004 in Hall 11, Stand 10. However, during the entire fair, and framed by technological talk sessions, the IRC Future Match booth provided ample opportunities for transnational business contacts for new research & development, technical co-operation, manufacturing, marketing or license agreements, joint ventures, etc.
In 2004, the European networks IST-EC, IDEAL-IST and EUREKA kindly supported the IRC Future Match.
