Capacity Building Workshops for Women in Business and Science

Three capacity building workshops on technology transfer for women in business and science were held on 17, 18 and 25 January 2008 in Sofia. They were part of the WENETT project.

The agenda of the workshops covered topics such as technology transfer, 7th framework programme – open calls and financial aspects, practical tutorials on how to write good technology profiles and find partners for technology transfer and FP7 EU projects.

The event featured three role models videos, prepared under the WENETT project, of women in business and science, who have succeeded and have benefited from transnational cooperation in innovation and technology transfer.

42 women in science, business and representatives of regional stakeholders particpited at the event.

The WENETT project (Promotion of Women EntrepreNeurs to participate in European Technology Transfer) is committed to working with, and assisting women in science and in business. This EU-funded initiative spans across five European countries: Germany, Scotland, Sweden, Poland, and Bulgaria.
