The ‘Advanced Workplaces for Advanced Business’ conference is one of six regional events within the EUWIN network, and is being held in conjunction with European SME Week 2014. It will take place on September 29th, 2014 at the European Commission Representation Office in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The conference is organised around a number of sessions, including: “What is workplace innovation and how does it work?”, “How can regions be more competitive thanks to workplace innovation?”, and “How can we spread workplace innovation?” The free conference will bring together more than 80 leading enterprises, policymakers and other stakeholders from across Europe, to discuss these topics and others. The conference aims to gather regional experts and thought leaders in order to develop and aggregate new approaches to workplace innovation, and to spread existing practices.

The business networking event, organised by the Enterprise Europe Network on September 30th, is designed to provide opportunities for companies from the Manufacturing, Energy, Process Industries, Health Care and Services to share experiences and discuss opportunities to introduce workplace innovations.
Workplace innovation is a change: in organizational structure, work environment, HR management, internal decision-making, relationships with clients & suppliers, etc. that improve staff motivation and working conditions, productivity, organization performance and capability for innovations.
The networking event will include short presentation session of participating companies as well as face-to-face meetings for promotion and exchange of innovative workplace practices. A presentation template is provided for companies to present themselves and their workplace innovations.
