The Innovation Relay Centre – Bulgaria, managed by ARC Fund, the Bulgarian Industrial Association and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, IRC Stuttgart-Erfurt-Zürich, IRC Bavaria, IRC Anatolia and ALTEC SA , organised an European Partnering Event in the field of energy efficient buildings and renovation technologies on 8 March 2008 in Stuttgart. Participants will have the opportunity to meet potential European cooperation partners during pre-arranged meetings.
The event was held in parallel to the International Trade Fair for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficient Building and Renovation in Stuttgart, from 7th to 9th March 2008. The fair is a merger of two successful regional fairs: “Erneuerbare energien – Böblingen” and “Passiv-Haus”, and the international fair “Clean Energy Power” in Berlin. With exhibition space of 10.000 m² the fare will host over 300 exhibitors, 14,000 visitors and 1,200 congress participants from all over the world.
The technology focus of the European Partnering Event was:
– Passive House (ready-built house modules, wall and roof constructions, ecological building materials, windows, doors, facades, house and heating technologies, services for quality insurance). Sectors and niches applicable thereto:
– Heating and cooling technologies;
– New materials;
– New technologies in the area of renovation;
– Supporting ICT in the area of construction and renovation.
