Enterprise Europe Network at ARC Consulting is co-organizer of the International conference and brokerage event “”Clusters for Knowledge Management towards Europe 2020” that will take place on 22–23 September 2014 at Iasi, Romania.
The event is hosted by North-East Regional Development Agency (Romania), in partnership with National Association of Clusters from Romania, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, Institute for Economic Forecasting Bucharest and other potential national and international partners.
The event has the following objectives:
o Strategic positioning of clusters for reaching the targets of Europa Strategy 2020, as associative structures with potential of catalyst in the specialization of regional economies;
o Drawing the framework between 2014-2020 for funding of clusters;
o Identification of concrete solutions for the development of clusters.
The conference aims at bringing together decision makers in cluster policies, public authorities, financial institutions, support associations and management organizations of the clusters throughout Europe, on the one hand, and universities, research institutes, companies and members of the clusters, on the other hand, for ensuring a high quality yet pragmatic character of the event.
