On 22nd February 2007 ARC Fund organized a Training event under the IST BONUS Project to present strategies for participation in the 7th Framework Program (FP7) and to guide SMEs in their attempts to write FP7 proposals.
Trainer was Dipl.-Ing Pierre Kirisci – a research scientist from the Bremen Institute of Industrial Technology and Applied Work Science (BIBA) at the University of Bremen. Participants (SMEs and one NGO from the IT sector) were given practical guidelines on how to write winning project proposals, how to build a consortium, how to manage RTD projects and avoid common mistakes. Special attention was paid to the importance of ethical issues and the handling of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the evaluation process. At the end of the event participants also had the opportunity to share their experience with project management software and other tools for collaborative working.
