The event was part of the work programme of the Quality Meat project in which ARC fund is a partner organization. The event was held on 7th February, 2006 in Warsaw, Poland at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences.
The aim of the Brokerage event was to enable face-to-face meetings between researchers from New Member states and Candidate Countries and researchers from Member states, giving opportunity for exchange and share of experience and for building project consortia. The agenda of the event was focused on the avian influenza call.
The Bulgarian researchers who participated at the event were Ms Elena Kistanova from the Institute for Animal Science – Kostinbrod and Ms Dimitrinka Katcheva from the Institute of Biology and Immunology of Reproduction. They presented their research centers and activities in the field of avian influenza.
