“Quality Meat” Information Day Organized on October 20, 2005

An Information Day within the Quality Meat project was organized on October 20, 2005 at the Moskva Park Hotel in Sofia.

The event was part of an international conference “Animal Science in the Balkan Countries: Challenges and Perspective in the Process of EU Integration”, organized by the Institute of Animal Science in Kostinbrod.

The main topics of the event covered the results and forthcoming activities of the Quality Meat project and the support it provides to research communities and SMEs in their participation in the EU framework programmes, insight to the future calls for proposals in the “Food Quality and Safety” Thematic Priority. The participants were presented with practical tips on how to develop successful project proposals. At the Info Day, the audience was also made aware of ARC Fund’s initiatives in the field of this Thematic Priority.
