The International Technical Fair 2003 in Plovdiv was held from 29 September 2003 to 04 October 2003. It is a major event in the field of investment goods and technologies in Europe and is recognised for the promotion of the latest developments in the field of industrial technologies. The International Technical Fair is a natural centre for sharing expertise and exhibiting advanced technologies and products, as well as a favorite venue for ongoing business contacts.
The Technology Brokerage Event offered the participating company representatives, RTD organisations and experts, unique opportunities to meet and establish cross-border contacts with a diverse range of European companies and especially with companies from the Newly associated countries (NACs). The objective of this networking was to foster TTT agreements and technological co-operation, to encourage establishing start-up companies as well as to inspire and initiate joint participation in European RTD projects and future collaboration. This was a great opportunity for researchers to investigate the potential of commercial exploitation for products and technologies in the development stage.
