ARC Fund has launched a portal site for civil society in the Balkan region called Southeast Europe Online in the framework of a project, supported by USAID. This is the first attempt at creating an electronic community of NGOs, international donors, and other key players in the region’s reconstruction and development programs. The portal site is conceived as a platform for partnership-building among civil society organizations in Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FR Yugoslavia, FYR Macedonia and Romania, as well as a focal point for social, political, economic/business and cultural information about the region.
