Biography

Nikolay Badinski is the Executive Director of the Applied Research and Communications Fund, overseeing the research activities of the organization and coordinating the work of its thematic programs.

Nikolay Badinski has coordinated a wide portfolio of projects, including projects under the EU Framework Programs for research, technology development and innovation (FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020) and projects supported by other international donor organizations (UNDP, World Bank), aiming at developing the information society and the knowledge economy in Bulgaria and the region of South-Eastern Europe.

He has worked for more than 10 years at the Central Laboratory of Bioprocessing and Automation at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has specialized at the Telecommunications Institute of the USA.
