Biography

Ventsislav Benov joined the Applied Research and Communications Fund in 2020, where he is responsible for the business development of the organization.

He has sound consultancy experience and has advised the World Bank on funding issues for the projects “Review of Public Expenditure in Science, Technology and Innovation in Bulgaria” and “Review of Public Expenditure of RAS Croatia in Science, Technology and Innovation.”

Ventsislav Benov has advised as an external expert the Bulgarian Employment Agency on public procurement for beneficiaries under OP Human Resources Development and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in relation to the overall legal services and legality of the procedures. He has participated in more than 20 evaluation committees under the Public Procurement Act. He is the co-founder and managing partner of a law firm.

In 2022, within the 47th National Assembly, Ventsislav Benov was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Finance.
