Biography

Emanuil Georgiev is an expert at the National Safer Internet Centre at the Applied Research and Communications Fund. He holds a PhD in Theory and History of Culture and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Sofia University. He has participated in interdisciplinary research projects of the University. Emanuil has published scientific articles in the field of philosophy and cultural studies. He has tutored philosophy, psychology, ethics, civic education in a number of primary and secondary schools. He has attended the two-year program “Together in Class”. His responsibilities at the SafeNet Centre include: scientific and applied research on children’s online behavior, supporting the activities of the Youth Panel at the National SafeNet Centre, organizing and conducting trainings on digital-media literacy for children and youth.
