The event addressed manufacturers, tradesmen, research organizations and universities active in the following areas:

• Parts, instruments and materials in machine building and machinery
• Automation
• Electrical engineering and electronics

The technology and business matchmaking event was coherent with this year’s focus of Plovdiv International Fair – machine building, machinery and automation and took place during the machine building and machinery exhibition week – 28 September until 4 October 2009.

The Brokerage Event was attended by 61 companies and organizations; 121 bilateral meetings were carried out. The overall number of companies and organizations registered was 66 companies and 68 registered users (including EEN representatives). The companies and organizations represented Bulgaria, Italy, F.Y.R. Macedonia, Czech Republic, Russia, Romania, Hungary and Germany.
