Training on “Developing project proposals for Mission 1 and Mission 4 of the Horizon Europe program”

On 26 March 2026, Applied Research and Communications Fund participated in the Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Agriculture, aiming to build capacity in the sphere of project management and realisation. Within the event, ARC Fund presented the HARMONMISSIONS initiative and the Horizon Europe programme, encouraging participation in the European Union’s climate-focused Missions.

The session focused on two key Missions:

  • Adaptation to Climate Change
  • 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030

The training provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the structure of Horizon Europe, as well as practical guidance on the range of funding opportunities available under the programme.

Participants interested in developing projects aligned with Europe’s climate neutrality and adaptation goals received targeted support and expert guidance on:

  • Identifying and engaging suitable international partners,
  • Establishing effective cooperation with national public institutions,
  • Demonstrating the innovation and added value of project ideas,
  • Applying multidisciplinary approaches to climate-related challenges,
  • Ensuring long-term impact and sustainability of project results,
  • Communicating project objectives and outcomes to a wider audience.

The Academy contributed to strengthening participants’ capacity to develop high-quality project proposals and to actively engage in European research and innovation initiatives addressing climate change.
