Business leaders from Europe discussing workplace innovations in Sofia

The Advanced Workplaces for Advanced Business conference, focusing on workplace innovation, will be held on the 29th of September 2014 at the European Commission Representation Office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The conference is organised by Applied Research and Communications Fund together with the European Network for Workplace Innovation (EUWIN) and is being held in conjunction with the European SME Week 2014.

The event consists of a number of sessions, including: “What is workplace innovation in practice?”, “How does workplace innovation help countries and regions to be more competitive?”, and “How to foster the modernisation of workplaces in Bulgaria?” The conference is expected to bring together more than 100 leading enterprises, policy-makers and other stakeholders from across Europe in order to discuss such issues, spread existing good practices as well as develop and aggregate new approaches to workplace innovation.

The conference will be followed by a business networking event, organised by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), on the 30th of September. The event will provide opportunities for the participating companies to share experiences and discuss ways to introduce workplace innovations into their business. The events will bring together companies from Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, as well as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Belgium.
