Applied Research and Communications Fund, ARC Consulting with the support of Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria and in a media partnership with Bloomberg TV Bulgaria and Investor.bg have announced the 12th edition of the Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2015 national contest. The competition under the auspices of the President of Bulgaria Mr. Rossen Plevneliev aims to promote the successful business models based on innovations and new technologies.
The award in the ‘Innovative Enterprise of the Year’ national contest is given annually to Bulgarian enterprises and start-ups which have successfully developed and/or introduced innovations or has increased the efficiency of business performance and/or has led to a sustainable economic impact. The innovation performance of companies is evaluated by an independent jury on the grounds of data provided by the companies and in-depth technology audits of the applicants.

The contest has been recognized by the European Commission as the best national practice in a support of innovation. The National Innovation Forum features the award ceremony of the Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2016 national contest.
Applicants are evaluated against a special methodology by an expert panel and a jury in the following categories:

2. Quality of life
3. Green Innovation
4. Innovation Management
5. Social Innovation
6.Innovation for talents’ development/in support of talents
7. Innovative start-up enterprise (up to three years from establishment)
8. Innovation in creative industries
