Online survey explores companies’ attitudes to declaring their innovative activity

The Applied Research and Communications Fund is implementing the project “Hidden Innovations: an analysis of research and innovation activity that remains uncovered by official statistics”. To this end, it developed a short online questionnaire (closed) related to the study of the reasons for not reporting data on the research and innovation activity of Bulgarian innovative companies.

The questions aim to explore the attitudes of innovative enterprises and on this basis to propose measures to address this problem. The “brightening” of innovative enterprises will contribute significantly to determining Bulgaria’s real position at European level and will allow the development of relevant policies.

The survey is online-based, completely anonymous and its results will only be used in aggregate form. It is conducted by the Applied Research and Communications Fund in accordance with European and national social research requirements and will take you about 10 minutes to complete the online questionnaire.

Thank you in advance for your participation! We would be happy if you would also direct it to your partners with innovative activities. We would be grateful if you could complete the questionnaire by Friday, October 2.

The project “Hidden Innovations: an analysis of research and innovation activity that remains uncovered by official statistics” is implemented with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main objective of the project “Hidden Innovations: Analysis of Research and Innovation Activity that remains uncovered by Official Statistics” is to explore attitudes and options to address the problem of non-submission of data on research activity of enterprises to the National Institute of Statistics in the framework of the Annual Financial Reports.
