ARC Fund presented EEN Bulgaria at the annual meeting of the European Information Networks “Bulgaria and Romania – 10 years in the EU” on 20-22 June in Albena.
Prof. Teodora Georgieva from the Fund’s team, national coordinator of the European Business Support Network (Enterprise Europe Network), took part in the discussions on the common challenges the Infocentres will face in 2018, when Bulgaria will hold the EU Council Presidency.
Georgi Ganev from the Centre for Liberal Strategies presented the report “10 years Bulgaria in the European Union: benefits and challenges”, prepared at the request of the European Commission in Bulgaria and the Information Office of the European Parliament. Teodor Stoychev, Head of the EP Information Office, spoke on the role of the EU in the two countries.The experts from Romania and Bulgaria agreed that the EU presidency represents an excellent opportunity for joint action to overcome the difficulties faced by the two EU member states. The EEN Bulgaria partners are about to discuss the specific objectives to be pursued in 2018.
