1. Background:
ARC Fund aims to engage an external expert to develop Individual Demonstration Plans for each piloting location of high quality. These plans will facilitate the creation of transnational know-how communities focused on RTI transfer within three interdisciplinary sectors of material technologies (concerning RTIT>> project implementation, see annex 1). The expert will act under the guidance of transnational thematic group leaders.
2. Scope of Work: The external expert will be responsible for providing the following
services:
- Act as a representative of ARC Fund in the working group for planning and
developing three individual demonstration plans. - Develop a "state of the art" report, including business needs analysis and
indicative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support the demonstration plan development. - Clearly define objectives, tools to be tested, and planned activities in pilot
countries within the demonstration plans. - Integrate expected results using qualitative and quantitative indicators, anticipated
impact, and potential risks within the plans. - Develop demonstration plans for the following thematic groups:
– Biobased materials
– Sustainable materials and technologies
– Advanced materials
- Participate, along with an ARC Fund representative, in all meetings related to the
development of the plans. - Contribute to the working group responsible for transnational roll-out plans, a
supplementary activity to the demonstration plans, forming part of the final action plan. - Review the project framework, achieved results, and available databases and tools
relevant to the development of the demonstration plans. - Attend a working meeting in Austria in June 2025 to discuss achieved results.
3. Deliverables:
- State-of-the-art report outlining business needs and proposed KPIs related to the
project aims and action plan needs. - Individual demonstration plans for each piloting location.
- Participation in project meetings and working group sessions.
- Contribution to transnational roll-out plans.
4. Duration and Timeline: The assignment is expected to be carried out from January to
June 2025.
5. Qualifications and Experience: The selected expert should have:
- Proven experience in developing action plans, strategies or similar documents in
material, bio-based and innovation technologies or related fields. - Ability to analyze business needs and formulate measurable KPIs.
- Experience working in international and transnational project environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to attend meetings, including travel to Austria in June 2025.
