EU Trademark and International Trademark (Madrid System) – IP Helpdesk’s thematic diagrams have been specially translated and adapted for Bulgarian users and partners of ARC Consulting and Applied Research and Communications Fund.
The materials briefly present the signs that can be registered as trademarks and the rights deriving from the registration, the possible options for filing an EU trademark application and the necessary conditions for using the Madrid system for international trademark registration. The advantages of the two systems and the possible interaction between them, the stages of the procedures for acquiring trademark rights through their use, the costs involved and other important issues relating to them are also disclosed.
